MAXM16: Experimental Methods and Instrumentation for Synchrotron Radiation Research

The course is part of the main field of study in Synchrotron Radiation based Science at the Faculty of Science. The course is compulsory in a Master's degree in Science, with a major in Synchrotron Radiation based Science. The course is given as a part of the LTH specialization (F)Accelerators - physics and technology. The course is also given as a single subject course. The language of instruction is English.

Entrance qualifications

Knowledge corresponding to the introductory courses:
MAXM06 Introduction to Synchrotron Radiation Based Science, 7.5 ECTS credits and
MAXM07 Introduction to accelerators and free electron lasers 7.5 ECTS credits.


MAXM16 is given during the second autumn period, HT2. In autumn 2016 the introductory meeting is held November 2nd, 13:15 at MAX IV Laboratory, Fotongatan 2, Lund. Schedule and literature list (as of 2016-07-29) can be found here.
