To make sure that your education and working environment are of good quality, both the university and the faculty have made rules and agreements to secure the influence of their students. These rules concern the making of schedules, how exams are to be done and much more. They also state your right to be treated well, without being subject to discrimination, and how you can influence your studying situation.
The Student's Union of the Faculty of Science, LUNA, is a student organisation whose tasks include monitoring your studying environment and your rights. The union also arranges social activities including parties and excursions.
For physics students, there is also a Student's Council, GLUFS, which is subordinate to the union. The council monitors the studying environment at the Departments of Physics and Astronomy and Theoretical Physics.
