First up on 25 February is Nobel Laureate Anne L'Huillier, who will present the inauguration of ‘Quantum 2025’ in Paris. This will be followed by talks by Armin Tavakoli (4 March) on complex numbers in quantum theory, Andreas Wacker (22 April) on the early days of quantum mechanics and Klaus Mølmer (6 May) on the importance of Niels Bohr.
‘We are planning more lectures in the autumn, and details will be published on the Quantum in Lund web pages,’ says Professor Peter Samuelsson, Mathematical Physics, Department of Physics.
The seminars are open to the public and can also be followed digitally. They are aimed at anyone with an interest in the fascinating world of quantum physics.
