For his doctoral degree in physics, Simon Ek has written a scientific thesis entitled:
‘Optical Multiplexing for Ultrafast Videography’.

Simon Ek's thesis can be read in Lund University's research portal.

The faculty opponent is Dr. Jinyang Liang, Scientific head of the Laboratory of Applied Computational Imaging, Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications Research Centre, Quebec, Canada.

The defence will be streamed in real time, but part of the room is exempt from real time streaming.
