Kick-off Event: PowerPoint Karaoke & BBQ!

Join XANADU for a fun evening to start the academic year! We’ll have PowerPoint Karaoke (with a prize), a BBQ, and time to relax and play games. Bring your favorite indoor/outdoor games, your food and drinks, and get ready to improvise!
PowerPoint Karaoke?
Everyone who signs up will get a random (non-sciency) topic and prepare a slide deck of 10–15 image-only slides. On the night, you’ll present someone else’s slides—without seeing them beforehand!

MAXIV visit
On the 12th of May 2025, approximately from 14:30 to 16:00, we will organize our own first MAXIV visit.
After the tour (around 15:00), we plan to have a social hour at the Motel L Sky-bar and get a birds view of the facility.
